Workshops

The SCGB has resources and funding available to researchers who wish to organize and host workshops on topics relevant to the mission of the program. A member of the SCGB must be included on the organizing committee, but workshops can include presenters and attendees outside the collaboration.

Group Meetings

The SCGB has funds available to support in-person group meetings of SCGB collaborations. These meetings can take place at the Simons Foundation or elsewhere and may include PIs and trainees. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly.

Exchange of Trainees

The SCGB has funds available to enable exchanges of trainees between SCGB-funded labs. The length of the exchange term is flexible: Trainees are welcome to visit other labs for informal interactions and presentations for a day or two, or they can be embedded in the lab for weeks to learn a new technique. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly.
